Free as the wind
Ho sempre avuto pocchissime idee… in compenso fisse | Fabrizio de Andrè

It’s been 10 years since the first design of the concept bike. In the meantime it has been modified, criticized, destroyed, rebuilted, detailed, remodeled, rendere, without ever harming the dreem of seeing it come true.
Drawing is the expression of desires, invisible and at the same time realt and pulsating like life itself.
One day, with time cramps, il take a ride and rejoice like a child with a beloved toy.
Why a bicycle?

Besides having made history, I believe it is the future of transportation. Efficient, light, sustainable, healthy , simple and free like the wind.
Technicalities
The idea came from observing the proportions of a common bicycle.

The circle generated by the rotation of the pedals intersects the circle of the rear wheel with an acceptable margin to be able to insert a pin that transmits the rotation.
Three circles in mutual movement with each other.

The principle of the turbine could be used to produce electricity and then conserve it and feed it into the central pin.
The cycle is activated by the first piston in history – the legs that push alternately on the pedals.
Magnetic bearings could be used to minimize friction and perhaps even help the electrical circuit.
Other solutions in terms of materials, load transmission and hidden micro-elements have been detailed and will continue to evolve.
